30 years of vintage party

The Harvest Festival of Rueda, declared of Regional Tourist Interest, turns 30 years old, and it does so with multiple activities, all of which have room for three intense days.

This is shown by the mayor of the municipality, Lola Mayo, who confirms that some activities have been held previously because there is no time during the weekend to schedule more events. In any case it is the most important party for the residents of Rueda and the thousands of visitors who will pass through these days.

After Friday, the day of Saturday will feature the inauguration of the Craft Fair, which will also be open on Sunday, a tasting-pairing, storytelling, the Quick Painting Contest and, of course, the Vintage Bull at 18.30 hours. Flamenco and an orchestra will close that day that will give way to a Sunday with more proposals.

The Eucharist and the proclamation, as well as the appointment of the Bodeguera de Honor, will give way to the White Wine Fair with the presence of Rueda wineries. The popular paella, animation and parades and the concert of Thomas Potiron and his electric violin among other activities will not be missing.

This will develop a party that now seeks the declaration of National Tourist Interest while waiting for the decision that could turn Rueda, in a few days, into the European Wine City 2020. This appointment, says the mayor, would be a very special push and prominence for Rueda and all the municipalities in the area.
