Bodegas Cerrosol, S.A. is a family run winery founded 30 years ago in Santiuste de San Juan Bautista, Segovia, in the heart of the D.O. Rueda in the center of Castilla y León, Spain.

The Vegas-Cordobés family second and third generations are involved in the business with the willingness of maintaining the traditional values ​​of the wines of our region with the help of the best technological advances for its vinification.

It was one of the pioneer wineries in the D.O. Rueda, it being the first D.O. recognized in Castilla y León and the most important Spanish D.O. for the production of white wines. It has as central axis our appreciated “Verdejo” grape.

The “Verdejo” grape defines, together with the harsh continental climate and the rude gravelly soils, the character of the D.O. Rueda.

Our team is dedicated in heart and soul to the beautiful work of achieving excellence in our wines. Among them, our chief winemaker, Javier del Río López, devotes all his efforts to transmiting the philosophy of excellence of our winery from the vineyards to our wines.
